Lip Augmentation Enhancement

Mild accentuation of the upper and lower lips with a filler can do much to reverse the visible signs of an aging facial appearance in the female patient. For older patients it can be the final touch to nicely complement a facelift or blepharoplasties. Lips naturally thin with the aging process, and the newest filler materials are not only safe, but long-term retention of the filler products has also improved. Dr. Lindsey is currently using Juvederm. Lip augmentation can be done in the office under local anesthesia (by performing regional facial nerve blocks) or in the operating room under general anesthesia at the time of other facial cosmetic surgery. The goal is to restore the normal, youthful appearance, with possible slight additional enhancement depending on the desires and goals of the patient.
